Plaid Cymru candidate for Aberconwy
Trystan Lewis was raised in Treganwy. He attended Ysgol Morfa Rhianedd and Ysgol y Creuddyn, before going on to study at the University of Wales in Aberystwyth and the University of Liverpool, receiving a degree in Welsh and Welsh History and a Bachelor's and a Master's in Music from Liverpool. He is well knows as a musician and a businessman, since he's the owner of Siop Lewis in Llandudno.
Trystan has served his area as an organist in many chapels and a Church, as well as being a voice coach, helping to nurture and encourage young people's talents. He's also raised thousands of pounds for numerous charities through his work as a musician, and he led Malegwn Male Voice Choir for fifteen years.
He is a married man and the proud father of three children, Leusa, Rhyddid and Brython, three youngsters who are already taking an avid interest in politics! Trystan has been involved in politics since his time at Aberystwyth University with Plaid Ifanc. Later he played a part in Gareth Jones's campaign when he took the seat for Plaid Cymru in the 1999 Assembly election.
His aim is to re-take the seat of Aberconwy for Plaid Cymru in 2016 in order to help Plaid Cymru be able to form the next government of Wales.
