Plaid Cymru candidate for Delyn and third on the North Wales list
Born in Cheshire, Paul Rowlinson moved to Wales in 1983 to train as a teacher, training at St Richard Gwyn High School, Flint.
He has worked in the chemical industry and in local government and is now a freelance translator and Coordinator of the Bangor Street Pastors, a registered charity that offers care to young people and others and helps to ensure that they are safe when they go out late at night.
Paul is active in his local community. He is Chair of the Ogwen Partnership, formed by three community councils which have come together to take on a more active role and develop projects for the benefit of people in the area. With others he founded Ogwen Community Pride, a successful local voluntary environmental group.
He serves as the Vice-Chair of Governors for his local secondary school. Paul stood for Plaid Cymru in Delyn in the 2001 and 2015 Westminster elections and in the 2003 Assembly election. Paul is married and has three children.
