Plaid Cymru candidate for Pontypridd
I was born in Pontypridd in 1987 and grew up across the town. As a child I lived in Rhydyfelin, Graigwen, Cilfynydd, Glyntaf and eventually back to Rhydyfelin where I attended Glantaf Infants School, Parc Lewis Primary and Hawthorn High School. My grandparents and mother still live in Rhydyfelin, I currently live in Hawthorn and am the eldest of three brothers.
Since 2011 I have worked as a researcher at the National Assembly, focusing primarily on health and social services. Before that I worked a variety of different jobs, from call centres to shelf stacking at Iceland and helping to run election campaigns.
I'm standing in this election, because our constituency and our country desperately needs to change direction. We need a party and leaders in Cardiff Bay who have a vision to change our country and mover forward after 17 long years of stagnation under Labour. I believe now is the time for a new, Plaid Cymru government, which has the bold ideas and sense of purpose to begin building Wales into the country we know it can be.
