As the last of the main parties' manifestos is published today, Plaid Cymru leader Leanne Wood has said that her party's programme for government offers "the most ambitious, transformative and deliverable" plan to bring about the change Wales needs.

Leanne Wood said that the Party of Wales would be spending the remaining 16 days until the Assembly election "fighting for every vote" in order to be deliver its plans to cut waiting times in the NHS, raise standards in our schools, and inject new vigour into the Welsh economy.

Plaid Cymru Leader Leanne Wood said:

"Having finally seen all the manifestos from the main parties we can say with utmost confidence that Plaid Cymru has the most ambitious, transformative and deliverable programme to bring about the change Wales needs.

"We have been open and transparent with people in Wales by publishing a fully-costed and independently verified programme for government. Thousands have told us of their hopes and fears, and it is only our plans which offer clear solutions to Wales's problems.

"We are fighting for every vote in this election in order to be able to deliver our plans to cut waiting times in the NHS, raise standards in our schools, and inject new vigour into the Welsh economy allowing all parts of the country to prosper.

"With a lightweight and lacklustre manifesto devoid of big ideas and real ambition, the Labour party seems to have given up on Wales.

"On May 5, people face a choice between a stale and tired Labour party, or a Plaid Cymru government whose strong team and fresh thinking are ready to secure the change Wales needs."
